This was my last show. The band played so much better the night before, this night the place had zero energy. Bummer!

The best Stella ever ........

jerry gives it a go on this fire

This Scarlet>Fire has to be in the top 5 of all time . Unbelievable double jam during Fire. Stella is incredible.

nah - I have to say in this moment that i truly can't think of this as a great scarlet/fire - to the contrary - I am listening to this show in the phones as i am typing this - in the middle of the playin jam - just one of those things - tuning issues and no real precision and the pitch effect on Jer's guitar was cool for about 15 seconds, but I didnt get off on it as much as he did LOL.

This was my final GD show. This show was a 90's stunner from the beginning. The weather was great and the crowd was juiced! While Jerry was very sick by this point he put it together for most of the night. The setlist was strong and appreciated from beginning to end. What a blast!

While I'm not a fan of this kind of Stella Blue (too much yelling 'stella blue' over and over) and I think a lot are much better=4/21/78, 12/19/78, 9-24-76), you have got to admit that the Fire on the Mountain here is a 17 minute monster with a ton of inspired licks from Jerry as well as everyone else.

I just realized as I read another post, that this is only the 9th show with BOTH Scarlet>Fire and Help>Slip>Franklin's.
Trippy dude! Flew/moved from Wichita to go to these 3 shows, then move to Eugene!!

This was a Rex Benefit show if I remember correctly and what was easily the largest crowd of the 3 nights in Seattle.

The crowd was ready to go from the start and I thought the show had decent energy. I for one did not realize that Jerry's health had detoriated so much.

Looking back, not a bad way to my end my run.

This is a great show, sure its not bursting with energy but Jerry and the boys get the job done. As others have stated the FOTM is interesting, Jerry starts playing slide leads and then the rest of the band picks up on it and joins in.

The 1st guy to comment said "The band played so much better the night before, this night the place had zero energy, Bummer" WHAT THE LITERAL FUCK? He is either confused on his shows, or he was so high that it made him insane. This show not only has a Help>Slip>Franks AND a Scarlet>Fire but they were played to the max!!! my god that fucking FOTM!!! JUST had to say that dude was crazy this is in the top 2 shows of the year...

annual listening on this day.

This was my last GD show, which isn't saying much, considering how late I got on the bus. For my lack of of experience, this one was the best, though. I called the opener too, not knowing at the time how infrequent Help > Slip > Frank is as an opener. It really came down to a matter of what I wanted that day, and the Force was with me! As others have said, the FOTM was outrageous. Great energy in the Emerald City that day. So sad the summer ended the way it did, but this day was magical for me and my Grateful buddies.
