Comments:

The Matilda out of Corrina was unbelievable. I heard it coming out, but still couldn't believe it till Jerry started singing the words.

i have this show on disc...granted, the first ever unbroken chain was great, but besides from that, the show sounds pathetic.. jerry sounds as if he doesnt know where he is or what hes doing...the next couple nights on that run are great too, believe it or not..

I
Childhood's End-1st time played
II "rain set"
Samba-7th time played
Matilda Matila-1st time played
Miracle>
Morning Dew(always enjoyed the combo)

With Jerry faltering towards the end, many songs lost their vigor, while others such as Morning Dew took on a more somber note in many ways.

Vince surprisingly makes the last part of JBG quite good!.

I remember there being a light rain to at intermission into the second set and as the sun started to break through they went into Sunshine. I would love to think the rain to sun song choices were intentional.

This was the only time they ever played on my birthday in 30 years. So even though I had kind of lost interest after Spring 1992, I made a point of going to this show (but not the other two nights).

I am not a fan of this era in general, but there were a few highlights. It actually starts to pick up during "Corrina" in my opinion, and the little jam out of "Matilda Matilda" into Drums is delightful.

In hindsight I wish I had done all three nights, but at the time it's not where my head was at. The only other show I saw after that was my last one (Pittburgh 6/30/95), which ironically featured an even longer sequence of "rain" songs in the second set.

A nice UJB. The Dew is faster than usual. Normally JG can roll out the lyrics in such a way that they seem to come from some deep place only he can feel. Of course his guitar work is outstanding as usual.

Dew and Stella are two songs that really showcase how great JG was on vocals and guitar.

This show, like almost every single show from Spring 1992 onward, has its fair share of problems. However, one thing to note is that this is the final time that Uncle Johns Band would come out of space.

Generally a less than common slot for that particular song in the 'modern era', this is (IMO) a nice version worth listening to.

First Childhood's End one of my favorite late era songs, Phil's vocals aren't that good but it adds to the vibe
