Comments:

If memory serves, it was 118 degrees and miserable during this show.

Traffic played a terrific opening set --it was a pleasure to see them open for the band on this tour (anyone remember the tasty acoustic set they played in Chicago?)

my brother tells me this was a fantastic concert. I love the second set closer!

Well, at least it was a dry heat. I'll never forget this show. I remember camping with friends in Arizona and they thought I was crazy. As I look at the setlist now I think, wow - that looks like a great show. Truth is, I don't think they played that well that night. Certainly the sound was jacked by the time it reached me in the back. Standing on the Moon was wonderful!

yes, I would concur, this run of shows was waaay too hot. We pulled into town, radiator steamin', bank clocks reading 119. The shows were good though. I was just waiting for Jer to fall over from the heat, but they kept his fan on high for the big fella.

Jerry's wearing shorts! Jerry's wearing shorts!

My strongest memories was the stifling heat and how someone got out a hose and started spraying dancers on the floor. It was a great weekend, but Standing on the Moon and Don't ease me in were the standout songs for me.

I convinced the security staff on the floor i was Claustrophobic. He let me hang out in the dugouts. There was a steady stream of mist. And noone else but me. It made the shows memorable for me. By the 3rd night he saw me getting down and laughed and told me i got away with one. I know the music wasnt on all the time. But good memories none the less.

This show was a rough weekend I watched my buddy melt to the side of the pickup truck in the lot. FUNGOUI!!
