That "rain" at the begining of the the second set was such of treat for all of us in the rain. Also, I rememeber Deal just being crazy. There was a guy behind us with a big fat cigar stomping both feet on the ground in pure joy. What a wonderful day!!!

I got a very bad cold from this show. The other thing I remember, along with the *rain* songs and a very good Black-Throated Wind (the highlight of the show, IMO), was coming home to tv coverage of the OJ Simpson freeway chase/standoff.

A very interesting day.

I drove to Cal Expo and then on to Eugene for these shows all the way from Wichita, Kansas!! I moved to Eugene the next year I Loved it so much here! Havent been back to Kansas since actually!! haha
I loved all 3 of these shows, and this one with the Rain opener was probably my favorite@ Gotta love the OREGON RAIN......keeps everything GREEEEEN!
