After a long and difficult time at the show on 9/17/93, I decided that I was going to watch this show more near sober then previous shows and aslo as near alone as possible (I needed some quite time). I sat immediately to stage right and had about 4-5 rows to myself. This had its rewards. Seeing that it is nearly 14 1/2 years later I only have one "burned in" memeory of the show. During drums- Bill went nuts on a rockin' jam. I remmeber, quite clearly, Mickey set his drum sticks on his lap and watched Bill with a smile for a moment. Then Mickey got up behind Bill and started flapping his arms like a big bird- I think a bird like a Phoenix is what is etched in my memory. Sometimes you miss those moments sitting further back where the "thunder & lightning" get you!
