Towards the end of jerry's life, I believe they started bustin' some great shows. This is a great 90's show and were always on at Soldier Field. Touch of grey is a nice opening and also they go back to their roots with some truckin-->other one->smokestack-->one more sat. night. It looks sweet

Well this show made an indelible impression on me and my life. I still remember Jerry face on that train during “I know you rider”. Encore of Rain was amazing. My seats were 12 rows from the stage Jerry side!

I managed to get down on the field, close to the stage that night ... I'll NEVER forget that Maggie's Farm, where Phil belts it out like the world was ending. So wonderful.

We were going to skip this run. The 92 Soldier Field shows were, we thought, a big step down from the glorious 91 show. Both playing-wise and scene-wise.

But we couldn't stay away - we had heard a couple of positive comments about the Friday show so Saturday afternoon we went to the neighborhood Flipside Records ticket outlet to see if they had released any last minute tickets (the show was reportedly sold out).

Lo and behold, the ticket guy found us a couple of 100 level tix about 25 rows up, 25 yard line right in the blast radius of one of the field speakers. Score!

Turned out to be one of the better late era shows we saw. The Touch opener and Maggies Farm were 1st set highlights. Truckin thru the end rocked. And Rain! (since it was raining on and off all night). Vince even did a good job with his song!

I remember a rain burst before the show started so we were all crammed in underneath the stands waiting for it to pass and the j's were flowing. And was this the show that they showed the network feed of the Bulls finals during setbreak?
