Comments:

I have heard that the LL Rain they did at this show was the first time Bobby had ever played acoustic for it. Does anyone out there know if this is true? It was a great show and a beautiful day, by the way.

good show...solid playing throughout...the "broken arrow" and "lazy river road" are among the finest versions i have heard the pleasure of hearing. those 2 songs alone are worth the price of admission!

My first show, I just downloaded it and am reminded of that beautiful day... and ALL THOSE PEOPLE! What I remembered most was that acoustic Looks like Rain sounded amazing wafting over the wind... and the way the audience pushed the boys back into the jam during Truckin' when it seemed they had lost their way.... WOW.

There were seagulls flying all over and landing the top of the stage during Cassidy and I was convinced that during the jam Garcia was playing as if he was one of the birds being blown around by the wind.

First show ever...made it to the very front (well one person away) and stood in awe of Jerry and the rest of the band.
Thought that I had seen an awesome Jack Straw only to be told later that they didn't play it!
What a long strange trip it was

Sting was the opening act.
I went with my then girlfriend, her sister and best friend. They had all been at Woodstock as young teenagers. I felt like a rookie.
