Comments:

very nice show. the eyes is great and the placed rocked for the wheel>ts>gdtrfb>jb goode! wow, what a way to end a show. beautiful rain encore as well. the last four songs of the second set had an oddly nostalgic feel. perhaps it explains the next night when the boys tore the stands down with one of the greatest playin' in the bands of all time. no shit. one of the greatest. 20 minutes long. often, the latter day playin's would wind up a vehicle the dead just went through the motions on. think of the playin's the boys did from 72-74. those were monsters. that's how they ripped the playin' the following night! wow!

Along with Las Vegas and Shoreline shows, this Cal Expo Run made May '93 quite the raging month. don't know if i would say any of the shows are worthy of legend, but they are definitely worth your time. Three great three night runs. And this is also the only time that post Drums/Space Combo was played. A similar combo was played at the Warfield in '83, but there was a NFA sandwiched betweet TS and GDTRFB.
