What a night, everything is good. Help to Franks is so good, Jerry's guitar sounds like Gabriel's horn.

This was a good show, but Casey Jones was actually broke back out at RFK in DC a few nights earlier on the 20th. First time since 84. My brother and I were crusing up from the shows at Charlotte and on the long drive to Washington we decided at some point that of all the songs they could break back out and play again, the song we wanted LEAST was, with out a doubt CJones. We were with other people during the show but we both commented that during that moment when it was clear they were gonna go into Casey, we both kinda cracked up.Good Ole Grateful Dead

The last.

This show and Soldier Field 1st night 6/25 were the best of the 11 summer 1992 shows I attended (my longest GD tour). Some fantastic show setlists, but several factors combined to push some performances into the mediocre territory. There was some feeling of auto-pilot by the band and cohesiveness. Personally the split Dark Star verses between Richfield and Burgettstown threw me off-kilter only catching the latter.

Still 6/25/92 and this 1st night Deer Creek show were pretty much high quality GD experiences. This show has one of the finest 1st sets I ever saw. 2nd set seems a little short but upon listening is like a well-composed dream.
