Great Show, although in Blair Jackson's book "Garcia" He said Jer was stoned out of his mind on pot brownies..? Who knows if it's true, he still sounds real good!

I felt that show was a little rough

This was not one of their greatest performances. My guess is that the band was probably jet-lagged. Shit began to pick up by the end of the European tour and I can testify to that.

Obie statement makes a lot of sense. I was thinking Jerry sounded a little more fried then usual while listening to this one. The Brownie thing fits, especially since they were in Sweden. GOOOOODDDDD hash there, which probably made for quite the potent edible. The whole show seemed to have a lag to it, but it had it's moments, although they were few and far between. The Bird song was really rough, with one section sounding like jerry and Bobby got completely lost and had to wait for a cue as to where they were. And the beginning of Playin in the band fell apart really quickly. But in the spirit of this magnificent band, they managed to correct the error and get back on track relatively fast. but still, very shot show. The MSG run before this Europe tour is far more exciting and tight as hell. Wonder what happened in the month between these two tours.
