Brent's last show....the end of an era.

I cant believe brent is gone man, worst day of my life, i remember at the greek when brent and i were doin lines backstage and like i od'd man and like he had my balls packed in ice so i like came back to life, sorry for the rant, anyway, i think the weight was a symbolic end to the genius of brent man. Brent-when there was no ear to hear, you sang to me- We love you dudeman.

Not to be ruse, but what the fuck did you just say man? I think I got the jist of it, and I feel you man, Brent was a kind soul and his music touched us all. REST IN PEACE

hahaha, funny shit man. Yeah, dude, Brent went way overboard on the speedball...I really dug his late 1979 and early eighties shows. He really had a sweet sound from that organ.

Brent was a great band member. Excellent musician. You could feel his emotions in his music. Interesting how this was the 10 year anniversary of keiths death. RIP

Yeah we all miss Brent. I even miss his lame-ass tunes like that fuckin' lullaby he used to sing

Brent ruled. Jerry played off of him more than any other keyboard player they had. While I prefer the music they played in 72-74, Brent brought a real magic to the band, especially in the late 80's when Jerry's health got better.
-Jason R.

Brent's last solo line with the band: "I've gotta go, but my friends can stick around"

Sends chills down your spine. RIP BM

Brent was great. He played with such intensity. What a lost. Jesus loves dead heads. Please call out to him before we end up dead and gone. Love you guys! Thanks for the fun times!
Romans 10:9-10+13, “that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto to righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation… For whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.”

That version of the weight is probably one of the best ive herd them play. I think the dead were never the same after that night.

R.I.P. Brent

I was never the same after this night. The next day, I woke up older.

End of the road.
-80s head (09/11/2013)

I remember standing in the lawn during this show and as they showed a close-up of Brent's face on the jumbotron a Head who was standing next to me said "man, Brent's eyes look like he's on smack" I remember thinking back to that a couple weeks later when he was dead from that fuckin speedball.

25 years ago tonight. Good Time Blues has Brent really laying it all out. We still miss you Brent.
-Stagger lee (07/23/2015)

-black peter (10/28/2015)

Has anyone seen Brent's daughter play? She's a sight to see for sure.
-Anon (05/02/2017)

On the day we heard of Brent's passing, we drove up to his Lafayette farm hoping to see fellow Dead heads outside the farm, but no, so we sat there & played some tunes from old taper. I thought WOW, the band is going to be so so so sad. God Bless Brent.
- (07/28/2017)

it is my favorite Foolish Heart
