good show. jammy second set

dire wolf was nice as was rooster

T'was my first show, drove across the country from Indiana to see it, and IMHO it shows how consistently on the band was at that point that this was the "sleeper" show of the run. Lots of great stuff in this one, including a smokin' Let It Grow, an extended-intro version of Just A Little Light that actually sounded for once like it belonged there, a nicely-done Foolish Heart... lotsa good schtuff in here, even though it was a rather short and unadventurous second set.

Damn, do I miss that band!

-Patrick Russell (12/09/2008)

Damn, The second set had me hypnotized. Everything just melded together so well. And Gotta agree with patrick about the JALL, the intro sounded intentional for once and built into a great version of the tune. '89 definitely sounds like it's going out with a bang.
