Comments:

Wow! The memories! After the trouble we went through in Jersey a few nights before and then the show at JFK the night before. Those who were there will know what I am talking about. I hadn't heard To Lay Me Down live in years. It made it all worth while.

God love Jerry and the boys!

This show has always been my favorite. I'm not sure why, maybe because it was general admission and being out standing and dancing on the field, but it felt more intimate than the usual stadium show. I remember it raining partway through the second set but no one cared since the band was really on that afternoon. Brent sang "I Will Take You Home." I seem to remember there being a close up of Brent's keyboard showing pictures of his daughters. My friend Ellen nudged me and pointed this out. The rain cleared up for a nice US Blues encore. Listening to the show now brings back a lot of good memories. Check out Phil's DS tease while tuning.

Bruce Hornsby plays piano on Tennessee Jed and Stuck Inside of Mobile. kind of like a little preview of what the dead would eventually sound like when he became a full member with vince

good show but did it rain like hell throuout the whole show. I just remember the marching turtules on the big screen at the end.

6 years late on this note, but regarding Chris' comment up there - Bruce does indeed play on both of those songs, but he's playing his accordion. The lovely piano playing is by good ol' Brent.
