My first show...changed my life.

This is the only show I ever saw Jerry play a Strat. I believe it was MIDI enabled which is why he was using it. Great show too!!

Just listened to the Ultra Matrix Soundboard of this show on Archive (transfers and mastering by Charlie Miller). Awesome show! According to notes, "this is the first show where Jerry used his MIDI guitar."

I really like Bertha as a set closer, somewhat unremarkable first set otherwise (a good Minglewood in there though). I had recently been thinking how I'd love to hear a Cold Rain and Snow, and bam, there it was second set opener. Really nice. I certainly love the 2nd set song list. Estimated>Eyes is always great, though I don't think this is an all-timer by any means. Really solid Wheel. Probably the highlight for me is Wharf Rat - Jerry's guitar really soars in his solos. Some interesting moments in NFA, though of course they never go on too long like they did circa '77. Pretty solid solo in Knockin' too. All told this one got stronger and stronger as it went on, I'd say.
