Zero did not open. Kimock did not play. But what did happen that day was a free show in GG Park for a USSR-USA Peace Walk. Many old SF faces showed, including Garcia, Saunders, Grace Slick (nice Wooden Ships), Baba Olatunji, Airto, and many others that I can't remember now. If I remember correctly, Airto sat in on drums this night. Could have been Hamza. If anyone knows for sure, please let me know.

It was Baba Olatunji who sat in with them this show.

There was one of the strangest guest ever though, a Russian singer came out and did a wild folk song during intermission.

I was SO BAKED(fungus)I wasn't sure it really happened until after the show.

The "I will take you home" out of space was very transcendental too, nnot sure I would want to see it again but that afternoon it was 'ok'.
