Comments:

Thank you, gate crashers! Due to a flood of gate crashers at this show and, over this Easter weekend, the local law enforcement decided to become jerks too. Even to the point of flying a police helicopter over the place with a spotlight blinding Jerry who FINALLY gave up without finishing Morning Dew. Bill Graham came out at the next show and ripped everyone a new one. Camping was also banned in Irvine after this show.

1988 was the last year of camping. We had gate crashers in 1989 too. Some guy coming through the fence and an usher chasing him...good times.

My first show the night before. And I sure hope "good times" was sarcastic. NOTHING good came of hordes of ticketless morons scaling walls. And of course we all know how this awful trend culminated at Deer Creek. "Gate crashers suck."

Terrapin-Jerry's voice is rough but he endeavors to persevere Takes it easy with his solos but the lyrics seem to mean more as he struggles I reckon

Gimme Some Lovin'>Morning Dew-2 of 10 times this Brent/Jerry combo played. Many times Watchtower was sandwiched between the two or Wheel starting but I like this duo very much
