Comments:

The 3rd show in this run gets a little better but not much, A couple of noteworthy highlights are: China Rider where Jerry gives it all hes got on "wish I were a headlight on a north bound train" and a nice guitar solo; Estimated has some nice jams and Healy adds to the mix

1st show of the year but the boys were in good shape & spirits. Long "Phil" chants from the crowd before PUSH, Bobby responds with his voice altered to sound like he is on nitrous "Phil says he is not going to be pushed around by you jerks"

BIODTL-at least 20 beats, you can hear the boys say "you have to count" Bobby voice is rough & has a lusty voice in a few of the chorus's

Promised-false start, but tight on the 2nd try
China>Rider-Jerry decided you can't end the first show 87 on a rusty Barry song & transitions immediately into this oldie but a goodie.

-Perrinswolf (09/28/2013)

Brokedown-Jerry's voice is powerful & soulful at the same time with bone chilling solo's & excellent Brent harmonies.

The last Grateful Dead show in San Francisco...

If you don't count the Bill Graham memorial in 1991 in which several bands played.
-Will (05/01/2021)

Sweet Throwin Stones-NFA, lots of Healy effects on Bobby vocals in Throwin Stones, especially towards the end.

Bobby sounded rough on Estimated, jam was sweet though. Scarlet Fire from night before was excellent.
