The Dead didn't play an encore for this show. I was cold and rainy as indecated by the opener, however, the clouds parted and nice sun beam shown down on the crowd and stage during the Scarlet jam. Sun was pretty much out after that. After second set Bobby came out and said that "Jerry's speakers were frozen..." (?!) Thus for whatever reason no encore.

A friend went to this show and Fire on the Mountain was so appropriate for this was right after chernobyl. I heard the tapes "Nuclear Space."
