great show! Second set has some really nice highlights. Estimated bob goes crazy. She belongs to me, Sugar Mag, Satisfaction! Was my 4th show, needless to say, I REALLY got it here.
-for sure

Last time "Baby What You Want Me To Do" played, only 4th time. Lots of good covers.

Only show to have Peggy-O and She Belongs to Me. Each set Jerry takes a song and makes it oh so much more special. Hoo-rah!

Bobby sits on the edge of the stage for his solo during Rooster. Weir gets the MVP for this show. Smokin Satisfaction

The night of the first naked eye observation of Halley's Comet return since 1910
-Ben (07/15/2018)

I don't much care for a Satisfaction encore, but anything for She Belongs to Me!
-Just Exactly Perfect Band (10/16/2020)

...growing up in the Rockin Chester, I was able to see 12 of the 15 Rochester NY shows 1976 to 1988. We also traveled thru New England, NYC, Philly, Baltimore & DC The deadhead crew we had back in the day wondered off to 198 shows from 1981-1995 and would never never never trade a day in the world for what we experienced....... those were the good ole IKO IKO days. Sure do miss Jerry & Brent ...

IKO IKO on & on .......

Beatles, Dylan, Stones - Murph or Perrin , did that ever happen at any other show ?
-Lennon, Dylan, Jagger (02/06/2025)

Not that i can remember, but Perrin probably does. There's a ton of shows that have two out of the three, too many to list, but this may very well be the only one with all three.

Although, so many setlists from the 60's are lost to time, so we may never know. Definitely an interesting cover combination. '85 was one of those years they threw caution to the wind and tried just about everything they could think of. My guess is, once they were informed early in the year that it was 20 years since they formed, they went back to their roots and started doing a ton of covers again, along with bringing back a couple classics from their early years.

Also, i completely agree with Just Exactly Perfect Band... Satisfaction was never a favorite cover for me, but Bobby always had fun with it. And She Belongs To Me will always be a tear jerker
