False start on Brokedown Palace, never heard them announce they were starting a song over before...

Scarlet Begonias, Fire On The Mountain
Estimated Prophet, Eyes Of The World: 32nd of 38 times this monster combo was played

-August West (12/08/2013)

Lol, Brokedown was fallin apart and they just start discussing who plays what part. Lol, of course, they come back with a fire rendition, but no fucks were given this night.

Also, Peggy-O comes seamlessly outta Big River. Either my recording is geniously spliced, or the boys were rockin another Red Rocks Run to the core. Which ever one, great show.

Also, Second to Last run at the Rocks. I've heard some heads fell off the rocks in '87 and the boys never came back, anyone confirm/refute this?

"False start on Brokedown Palace, never heard them announce they were starting a song over before..."

They had a false start on Brokedown at Telluride 2 years later, those Telluride shows immediately followed their last ever Red Rocks run. I think they were in the wrong key and Jerry exclaimed "Wait, this is all fucked up." Must've been the altitude...
