I always liked the acoustics of the Berkeley Greek Theater. The live back wall combined with the sound going up the hill without echo created a real clean outdoor ambiance. The Greek also easily brings forward flaws in the mix such as overmodulated mics. The Grateful Dead was ahead of many bands in the pursuit of quality PA sound and it was a pleasure to hear Healy's mixes there.
