Awesome show for sure. China >Rider,Scarlet >Fire perfection. My first taping experience too. I remember walking in and being totally parched, seriously Jonesing for a cold beer. Then I realized I WAS IN UTAH! Thankfully about ten minutes into the set break a dude goes strolling by with a tall Coors cup and pointed me in the direction of the beer garden. Salvation to be sure. I was pretty sure it was 3.2 so I snuck a third back to my spot. You can't be to careful! From there it was off to Red Rocks and Santa Fe. What a summer.

Forgot all about that guy with the parachute. Not to fear, it wasn't a trick of the mind.

this was fun, rocky mountain dead.
it poured rain the night before, tents were getting soaked in the lot, a guy came by in a pickup and brought us all to his under=contruction mountain home.
Bertha opener got a great roar,
at "ran into a rainstorm..."
and of course FOD, "spent the night in Utah, in a cave up in the hills"
laid back, security on horseback, parachuter, what a day@@
