hampton Comes Alive!!! best show man. we were all tripping on shrooms and blazin the whole night. I found a dealer and hooked me up with a few bags which my friends and I went through in a few minutes. Great times! Nothing like the Dead!

My first show. It was great to hear Truckin' and the China Cat > Rider. The slipknot had some great drumming. The drumming in general was very good. First time I really saw two drummers working that well together. I missed their interplay in the later years.

east coast bust out of help>slip.franklins.
an all around great, high energy hampton show.
a GOOD aud is desperately in need of circulation.
there is supposedly a Rob Eaton Senn 441 source - please contact me for other early 80's AUDs.

Really like this show. It is tons better than the 3/29 show. Definitely worth a listen.

There's a very tasty aud available at Archive now (the Steve Fundy version).

I
BE Woman-What I call a early 70's version with Jerry's voice interested and prolonged solos. (song has 30seconds of audience recording)

LLRain-Bobby's voice is awe inspiring soulful & Jerry's ready to mesmorize from the first chord onward

China>Rider-The board mix is incredible, Jerry's voice sounds 10 years younger than the date & Phil laying low level bombs throughout. Tantalizing progression into Rider where Bobby sings many of Jerry's lines.

I really enjoyed the Franklin's>Truckin...great combo

Throwing Stones>mellow drumesque descent into Black Peter, sounded as if Jerry might have been thinking of going into something else

GDTRFB>Excellent Brent vocals
Saturday Night-Matrix aud at the end.

This show was the best Help on the Way (especially when it comes to Phil riffs right before they go back into slipknot)that they played after breaking it out at Compton Terrace. I prefer good audience tapes because it captures the "booming" tones of the big arena. Phil wails on this one.

Bobby talks about a sex change during truckin. Truly odd.
- (05/11/2016)

the return of Smokestack Lightning
-Just Exactly Perfect Band (11/15/2017)

My brother Esau 7th time played. First on the east coast.
-Kdead (10/25/2022)

Candy Man!! Wow
-Kdead (10/25/2022)

Spoonful jam ahead of Smokestack jam.
