Smoking show! Second set with Zakir Hussain and John Cipollina.

This show is notable to me for the smokin' segue from Scarlet Begonias to Fire On The Mountain. For some reason, the comparitively anemic night before was chosen to be released as a Dick's Picks. I suppose the reason had something to do with the more unusual setlist from 8-7. Just as you can't judge a book by it's cover, you cannot judge a Dead show by its setlist! I have only heard the second set, but it is excellent.

This was by far the best show I saw of the 100+ shows I attended. Indeed you cannot judge a show by the set list.
