The start of the winter tour w/the van rats from Jersey! Great time. Bobby used the guitar from Pete Townsend. He even did the windmill!!! Just the beginning of a great roadtrip!

this show was in a theatre style setting, where only half the arena was used. quite intimate for a dome.

My very first Dead show! My mom dropped me and a friend off out front. I was two weeks shy of my 16th birthday, great show...the first of many.

This was one of the best shows I ever went to. Shakedown great and jazzy. Small venue, intimate, good sound, good sets. Roadies came around after first set and confiscated tapes, so there are a lot of second sets around, not so many firsts. Been looking to get this show for a long, long time....

Black Peter,,,InDeed

Waiting for the bus to work in Selinsgrove, PA when some friends pulled up and said they'd give me a ride to work. Sneaky SOB's, they stole my face right off to Pittsburgh. They let me call out "sick" from work from a phone booth halfway there, while ramming the booth with Special Ed's power blue Pontiac wagon. Got to the parking area as the Pittsburgh PD confiscated a case of Heineken from the dudes parked further up, but managed a few beers (and other stuff) before show time. Left with a big smile . . best kidnapping I could imagine. Ed got the big "C" sometime after that and he took his life, but that show and that night will forever be etched in my memory.
