John Balushi doing cartwheels is what I remember
-Robo

I was at this show, and have no memory whatever of John Belushi, though his presence is confirmed by other sources. It goes to show you how unreliable memories can be. I'm always amazed by seeing setlists of shows I was at, and having no memory whatever of a particular song, even though it may have been a favorite of mine. But it has been 28 years...so I just listened to a soundboard of the show, and this was a mighty fine show, indeed. At the time I was working in a mail room of a large company, and I ran off dozens of envelopes through the postage meter, as tickets were available by lottery. (Such shenanigans would later be eliminated by the Dead ticket service by disqualifing duplicate requests, lest they be snowed under with envelopes.) I brought my voucher to the Palladium box office to pick up the tickets. Why I only got two tickets to this show and not the other two I don't remember. Even though tickets were only $12.50, maybe it's all I could afford at the time. Maybe you were only allowed to get one show. I don't recall. It was a treat to see the Dead in a relatively small venue, in a theater. I would never see the Dead in a venue of this size again.

I farted in Belushi's fart & he got a BUZZ.

Estimated-Solid performance considering the recording was an audience.

I only saw Belushi doing cartwheels on stage at the Closing of Winterland. It was kind of strange to see such a portly man doing gymnastics in a smoky ballroom.
