I once heard David Crosby say the Grateful Dead were like the rock n' roll version of a Dixieland Band, with three or four separate jams going on at the same time but totally tied together. If you want to know what he means listen to the Shakedown Street jam. Amazing.

A High Time InDeed,,,

- (04/12/2018)

long jam leading up to Eyes. sweet, I wondered if I had missed the intro. I don't claim to be an expert but the lead up seemed extended. anyway, the song is here and it is still moving at a fast pace.

Been listening to a bunch of Fall 79. You can really hear Brent finding great space during Estimated~Eyes. Big long jams and the next couple of night's at Stanley Theater in PA are outstanding. Had 12/1 tape 2 gen. I burned it up. So glad for this sight and Archive are here so I can jam it anytime I want! NFA65-95
