this was my first show.

Great show with the band in a particuarly joyful mood...Jed, Terrapin, Peter & those old US Blues were stellar.
-

Looong playin...great jams throughout second set
-Anonymous

This is my favorite Dead show of all time. The entire second set is extremely psychedelic. In my opinion, this show has the best Playin' of the Brent era, and one of the best Playin's of all time. 23 years of tape collecting under my belt and I still return to this show over and over as a transcendent experience. If you do not have it, get this show.

Easy To Love You-9th/45th times played
-Perrinswolf

Easy To Love You-Incredible to hear how wonderful Brents voice was at the start. Not raspy whatso ever but a gentle whisper. First glance of the setlist, i say to myself "4 song 2nd set and drums?" but then...Playin'@33 minutes plus...leaves your head spinning for the rest of the show and a soft sad Jerry brings you back to reality in Black Peter.

Powerful terrapin powerful 2nd set you may be weak you may be blind but even a blind man knows when the sun is shining

...and the rain is fallin'.

Very spacey end of Playin' as it goes into drums with lots of Brent sound effects!
-bnork (11/08/2012)

I really like the Jack Straw from this show. Check it out on Road Trips Vol. 1 #1.
