Just bagged this one. Very energetic first set!

the half step is very stately and jams sweetly into a beautiful franklin's!
the whole show is good but that
half step>franklin's opening is worth the price of admission!

Sailor>Saint-7th time played, and 1st 2nd set slot.

An energetic first set with highlights all over! The second set kicks it up a notch with a blazin' I Need a Miracle>Bertha and Lost>Saint>Drums>NFA. Some people don't like Brents toy-Fender Rhodes sound but...oh...ah...I'm dancin'...yea dig the toy piano!

Charlie Millers first show

The fans at Nassau were goin nuts. It was beautiful, the whole crowd was singin along, even when jerry's mic cuts out. Nassau fans musta been REALLY happy that the dead came back to LI.

This Saint of Circumstance ending jam is flat out INCREDIBLE!!! Like stunning incredible. GREAT show! These two shows at Nassau were incredible and delivered some all time highlight reel performances, this SOC jam and the Scarlet>Fire from 11/01 the night before just for starters. The last four months of 79 were exceptional.

Gotta agree with Bman here. '79 was exceptional for how experimental Brent was... Some of his sounds didn't always work, and after the extraordinarily conservative Keith 2nd half, I'm sure it must've been jarring to current heads... But OH FUCK THAT SAINT OF CIRCUMSTANCE!!!

Stella Blue-A touching version with the crowd waiting for Jerry's next line
Sugar Mag-Muscular version with Phil bombs and Brent carnival organ. A real knee slapper!
