I can still remember being in the first couple of rows and seeing Garcia emerge from backstage at the very begining of the First Set, utterly wide eyed at the fact that he was, indeed, stepping onto the stage of MSG for the first time - of how could they possibly know it would be so many times

My old friend Jonesy and I went to this show. Got good seats about a week after they first went on sale. Funny how things changed in the next few years. Attended many shows in and around the New York area from 1977-1995. MSG was always great. We used to sit behind the stage, usually cool and we all had two seats and room to dance.

To anyone who was at these two nights, did the boys blow out their own PA after Black Peter? Cause I hear mad feedback and static overload during Around and Around into the next night. Any insight would be awesome.

11th row center. Lights went down and show to began and all assembly of rows and aisles disappered. "What, ' ya gotta' pee? Ha ha ha. The puddle of beer I assumed I was wallowing in was not a brew but my friend's expulsion.
Show was freakin' great.
