Oh lordy.

We arrive on time for this show, yet they start playing while we are still in line waiting to get in, because they are very busy frisking each person. We are furious, AND some local religious group is outside, telling us that we're all going to hell for listening to this evil music.

Favorite part of this Uptown run: a Deadhead talking to one of the ushers:

"I've seen the Grateful Dead 53 times.

And 52 times they've let me down.

But ONCE they were GREAT!"
