It's Spring 77, so the quality of play was never really in question. However, it's the setlist quirks that make this show a gem.

Estimated AND Terrapin in the first set? I know they just started playing them on 2/26, but that's a trend that just didn't last too long. And when was the last time we had a first set Playin' sandwich? 74?

Great show!

Jamming show with interesting versions of the songs. An amazing taste of what would follow to be one of their strongest years..long live GD music!!

Just heard the Uncle Johns Band closer on Sirius/XM. Probably the best I've ever heard. Great mix. You can hear every instrument and voice. The jam parts sound like 10 different songs come together as one.

Sean-Ay

last first set Playin' sandwich was 2/26/77, when they closed set 1 with Playin' > Wheel > Playin'

One of the best versions of Eyes ever!! Rivals 6/8 and 10/29 for my favorite of the year.

Since there are no tours in 2020 or 2021 I’m in a virtual Dead Tour. This year I’m doing ‘77.Today we are at winter land for night two.

Damn this is the weirdest show I’ve ever heard.

Incredibly long first set and that slow groovy sugar mag. This tour has been amazing so far.

seems to me that they are really fast for this show. 1977 rocks, i love it. but the jamming is blazing fast.
