I had live version, 3rd generation.
Made me fall in love with the Dead. One of the best Help/Slipknot/Franklin's ever!

Was at this show my senior year in high school. Still remember it with a Cosmic Charlie opener, I must have been more F'd-up than I remember. Show was hot and so was the venue, packed like sardines on the floor of the Beacon. All in all, it was a great start to the 36 other shows that followed in my life.

1st Manhattan NY show since 3.28.72
-Perrinswolf (05/31/2007)

I like the way they didn't go with the same old routine setlist wise out of retirement. Playin' in the 1st set, Wheel(3rd performance) as 2nd set opener and Help>Slip>Franklins to end the set. Very good "shoe"

-Brianmerrilyn (06/27/2007)

Recall the days that still are to come
Some sing blue

Life may be sweeter for this I don't know
See how it feels in the end

Cloud hands reaching from a rainbow
Tapping at the window, touch your hair

Who can stop what must arrive now?
Something new is waiting to be born

Gone are the days we stopped to decide
Where we should go we just ride

Life may be sweeter for this I don't know
Feels like it might be all right

Midnight on a carousel ride
Reaching for the gold ring
Down inside
Never could reach it
It just slips away
But I try...

I mean who thinks of this stuff?! (It's rhetorical. I know who.)

How incredibly lucky we all are for the fact that Robert Hunter and Jerry Garcia were a team.
-Anonymous (11/20/2021)

Bob announces Phil’s birthday approx. 3 months late, quite amusing. Jerry nails the BEW solo.
