my first show.If anyone can tell me about a hotter chian cat/rider jam I would be amazed to know of one.I still have the ticket($6)and the program. The show went from 7-1 am.The audiance tape I have is not to good but to be able to here your first show is pretty neat considering the time period and the place.Thank you.

Hands down best china/rider is dp 12. get it you will see why..also one of the best usb intro youmay ever here.
-Ga-DeadHead

I loved this show, but I could swear there were two nights, not one. Great sound. Jerry was wearing a ridiculous Elvis jumpsuit thing, if I remember right.

8/27/72 is by far the most imporant china/rider, if not the most spiritual. HANDS DOWN!
-

we all know 8/27/72 is great, you gotta listen to other shows to though

Hands down, the best China > Rider ever, in my opinion. If you're a big fan of the Feelin' Groovy jam, this is your show.

The Other One was played after Truckin' and before Stella Blue. Please amend setlist to reflect. Thanks.

it was only a short Other One Jam in the middle of Truckin' - IMO the setlist stands correct the way it is

also +1 on DP 12 (6/26/74) being the best China/Rider hands down... don't forget the little jam leading into the China Cat either

That jam out of Truckin' is absolutely epic. Several different parts to it. Starts kind of funky, there's the brief foray into The Other One, then you get the weirdness, and then a perfect landing into Stella Blue, which is my highlight here - absolutely beautiful solo from Jerry. And I'll concur with others that China>Rider is pretty darn exceptional, though it seems that they all are from this year. Just another great show.
