Comments:

the 1000th show, if you include the ancient, informal gigs they did in pizza parlors. Still noteworthy, though

Truckin'-Megaton Phil bomb just before Nobody's Jam. Incredible version!
-Brianmerrilyn (07/14/2007)

Bill says in the GD Movie bouns footage that that this is the first true wall of sound show... not 3/23/74.

no friend of the devil im reno? :(

There is a very distinct St. Stephen jam inside passenger. Then, a Donna-screech kills it. What a shame.
-Charlie fog (05/13/2017)

This show is a real stinker.
-Anonymous (07/31/2020)

1st off this show is not a stinker like the jack off above me stated. This is a solid show and I would consider it par for 74 which is an AMAZING average. Anyways, Big Ass Titties...

They didn't do FoTD at all in '73 and only brought it back toward the end of '74

Show is part of the Mars Hotel 50th release https://store.dead.net/en/grateful-dead/special-collections/from-the-mars-hotel/?pdshow=true

Pushing themselves and The Wall past the red line limit. Almost reckless in sections. Wanting to break Bear’s Frankenstein sound system. An incredible show with tons of Rock ‘n Roll attitude and swagger.
