I was there... It was a horrible show... It was not sold out, and the band didn't seem to be into it at all.. Phil actually sat down during one of the songs... I don't remember which one...
However, the next night was brilliant...

did those show have those shitty horns honking away?

the fall of '73 "horn shows" kind of suck for that reason...those guys didn't fit in to the dead at all and their contributions to certain songs pretty much wrecked them for me.
just my 2 cents.
