Comments:

I have SBDs of this show on CDR and they sound so good. Best Wharf Rat I've ever heard! If you think you can match/beat it, I'd love to trade!

not the *BEST* WR ever, but a damn good one. They were on tonight, that's for sure. A few rarities played this fine evening. Take care all.

i think the 'china rider' and 'ramble on rose' from this show are on Europe '72
- (09/14/2009)

Jack Straw also on Europe 72
-Anonymous (08/22/2010)

jeff chimenti sounds so awesome on this show
-Anonymous (11/08/2012)

Jack Straw, China Cat Sunflower, I Know You Rider and Tennessee Jed are on Europe '72.
- (01/05/2013)

I totally agree with the previous post referencing the stellar playing by Chimenti during this show, particularly during the China -> Rider.
-a (02/18/2013)

Jamming show like most Europe '72 gigs. Jeff C. was only 3 years old during this run, doubt he was there on that day!
- (04/27/2013)

Uh yeah where the hell do you guys get the idea that Jeff was at this show?
-Anonymous (02/19/2014)

sarcasm. ya'll need to let it enter your life.
-Anonymous (12/01/2014)

I love when trey hits that note at 2:37 in China cat
-guinea hen (09/07/2015)

this China Cat > Rider is, well, just exactly perfect. Rest of the show is, too, come to think of it.
-Just Exactly Perfect Band (10/24/2016)

Aah Yes,,,It Hurts Me Too
- (09/05/2017)

-Bookkeeper (12/20/2018)

Awesome show, competes with 4/14. The other one is a wild ride totally different than any other version.
-Anonymous (05/31/2020)

Tennessee Jed missing between PITB and Good Lovin? It's on Live Europe Vol 11
-TTT (07/31/2021)

This was the first Jack Straw that Jerry sang the "... just jumped the watchman" and "...go to Tulsa" verses. The change was due to Hunter saying the song was written for 2 characters/voices. According to Dead Archivist David Lemieux.
-Anonymous (02/03/2022)

Actually, the Jerry parts in the verses of Jack Straw were overdubbed later. This version still had Bob singing all verses live.
- (05/04/2022)

Well. As close to a perfect performance from what was, in the 70s, the Best Band In The Land.
-Martinelli (01/03/2024)
