10.26.06-Phew, just finished listening to this classic on gdradio.net. Set I had a good sounding Pigpen for Next Time with solid Jerry licks. Morning Dew was short and low key with no blast off at the end. Loser has some of the fattest Phil chords this fan has ever heard. Toward the famous line within Truckin, the whol band sings in unison with all but Jerry tapering off towads the end of "..trip it's been". Love the way Pigpen adds "get on the wagon and ride" line to Hard to Handle. Never heard Bobby scream so well, better than any Saturday Night during the end of NFA.
Cityfolk were lucky to catch this gem.

Wonder why they stopped playing Easy Wind after this? Pigpen always needed more material.

A poorly played show. The Easy Wind is painful. Strange for 71.

I just listened to the Morning Dew from this show. I think some of the above comments are off base. I can only tell you that if the boys played Morning Dew in the middle of the first set I would have been turned into a puddle. It’s not all out because of its location in the set list. Listen to this show. It’s fantastic
