sound quality is not that bad for a audience tape. Sit back and enjoy this ragged gem.

Not only was I at this concert by I was on the committee that planned and put it on. I was a Freshman at William Paterson College that year. Half the band was taken to Wayne, PA by a taxi from the airport and we didn't find them for hours! The concert started somewhere around 11pm! This pictures are in my yearbook!

This early/ late show rocks! All electric. Show 2 starts at china cat. Bad sound quality is subjective. In 1970 who the hell could afford microphpnes that could handle 130+ decibles without distortion.
I applaud the taper for actually pulling this off.
Most audience tapes from this era and earlier are typically no better.
To aquire live GD back then, you had to make it yourself, or buy the ONE live dead album. Be glad there is ANY recording at all.
The Jersey audience gets totally hypnotized during dark star. Adjust your EQ and enjoy.
Lots of goodies in this show!
