If I remember, this was a show with Jefferson Airplane, Poco and one other band I can't remember. Show started 4 hours late, but I saw the Dead.

Can anyone confirm my memory is good?

the show with the dead, poco, jefferson airplane and the byrds was in 69, tho it felt more like 68.
i was there but no setlist- no one could get close to the stage in those days with the houston cops!

Re: the 10/5/1969 show at Sam Houston referenced in Melissa's comment the the handbill linked by Bossgobbler, according to The Illustrated Trip, the Dead did not play that gig. They did play the very next night at The Great Highway in SF (10/6/1969).
