Comments:

This set list is missing the Lovelight as the 2nd set closer. The Eleven>New Speedway Boogie>Lovelight are featured on December '09's Taper's Section on dead.net. Check it out the sound quality is great and the performance is boss! This is the first New Speedway Boogie and it's pretty darn good for only being two weeks old! The Lovelight is raunchy, drunken, Pigpen filth! Hahaha the best Lovelight's are the ones where Pig starts rappin' about girls who are only "14 yes 'ah 14 years of age!" or "Pocket Pool".

It's pretty clear that the songs on Dave's Picks 6 were rearranged to fit both shows on three discs. The performance order appears to have been:

Mason’s Children
China Cat Sunflower>
I Know You Rider
High Time
Me And My Uncle
Hard To Handle
Cumberland Blues
Dark Star>
St. Stephen>
The Eleven>
New Speedway Boogie
Turn On Your Lovelight

Lou has the order correct, but I'm not sure about the reasoning behind the rearrangement. The liner notes, which arrived in the mail today, say the order has "been altered slightly to keep the jam sequence intact."

We essentially get the 2nd set, then the 1st set. It seems they were trying to "unify" the two shows, bringing all the jamming into the middle. I haven't listened to it yet, but my initial reaction was cringing. I would prefer everything in the original order, regardless of the fact that there are two shows on the 3 discs. Any why have the 2/2/70 show 1st (it is on disc 1 and 2). I would put the 12/20/69 show 1st since it was 1st chronologically. Maybe I'm just being too logical-sequential. :)

Not sure what's up with the Black Peter listed above, and elsewhere. It's not on the Dave's Picks set list, and I thought this was supposed to be complete, but maybe not.

I saw Crazy Fingers, a local South FL dead band, cover this show on 12.20.2019 at Bostons on the Beach in Boca Raton. I was newish to the GD at that point, but new about 5 or 6 of these songs. It was a rippin show!
