Comments:

Of the 3 family dog 8-28,29,30-69 shows, this one has no bob or pigpen. Who is on keys?? Sounds reminicent of the hooterroll sessions. 29th and 30th is all solid GD. This show is unique. Possible rumors of bob and pig on "restriction" from missing practice. Keys are way up front in the mix.
Dark star is horrible.
Whats the real story here?

Bobby was kicked out in October 68 but came back soon. So idk what this show is.
-Kdead (02/15/2023)

Shows at the Family Dog were more informal and free-spirited that often featured band members from different bands playing with each other, (as well as a place called The Matrix), unlike places like the Fillmore and Winterland that had a more formal itinerary and schedule. The Dead have several shows like this at the Family Dog. Fun stuff.
-Peace Pipe (08/28/2023)
