St. Stephen > Eleven> Lovelight after Dark Star.

I just listened to the show and it does appear that set two begins with China Cat and includes the aforementioned ending SS>11>LL. Which really jams. I listened to it off of sugarmegs and the sound was pretty good.

Another classic blockbuster from the Fillmore. Nothing puts a smile on my face than to start off a show with my favorite song, Morning Dew, then HE Was A Friend of Mine, Cosmic Charlie and a tight and mean Crypical. Note Chinacat by itself instead of paired with I Know You Rider. Relatively Rare Sittin' On Top of the World.

But wait folks, this set list ain't complete, but the tape that is played on gdradio.net has the St. Stephen>The Eleven>Lovelight afteward. The Eleven is with lyrics and played almost flawlessly while Lovelight is a show in itself. Pigpens pipes are in full strenght and Bobby providing good chorus lines. Classic dead at thier finest.

A great snapshot of the Dead as kings of "acid rock": loud guitars, reverb galore, snarling jams, and all of those great psychedelic songs.

But, yes, the list here is incomplete: in addition to the rest of the Live/Dead suite, there's also an excellent China Cat which bounds intensely into Sittin on Top. (In an alternate universe that became the pair they opened second sets with in the 80s).
