Comments:

Primordial Dead
Smooth transition from St. Stephen>The Eleven. Jerry hits the gate with hot fast licks and does not turn back. Shorter Death Don't than most but almost flawless Crytical>TO1>Cryptial with exaggerated lyrics for "he had to die-ah-ah-ie" Lovelight is one for the memory.
-Perrin

Paraphrasing Jerry after the first song:

"We come all the way out here from California...to miserable cold Minnesota and what do we get? People who don't get it! Too weird...."

Band then proceeds right into Dark Star > St Stephen > The Eleven. Classic

First "rock" show at the Mpls Labor Temple and first entertainment there since the late '50s. While MN was a hot bed of "socialist equality" (remember "Farm Labor" has only recently taken out of the name for the MN Democrat Party) the Labor Temple leaders wouldn't work with long hairs and so the freaks found a straight looking David Anthony to be their go-between.
