Two from the Vault, a great collection of their best jamming of the time.

TWO FROM THE VAULT IS AN AWESOME RELEASE. IT HAS AN EXPLANATION OF THE WAY IT WAS RECORDED IN IT, BY DAN HEALY. I DON'T KNOW WHAT THE HELL HE WAS TALKING ABOUT, BUT THE MUSIC SURE SOUNDS PRETTY!

Officially released on CD as "Two From The Vault."

RAGING Other One
-Anonymous (08/24/2012)

One of the best representations you'll hear, playingwise and qualitywise, of the Dead in '68. 2 from the Vault is essential. Dig that jam from St. Stephen into the Eleven! Y*O*W!

If you don't know let me tell you...This is the Grateful Dead at it's very last 60s best...totally psychedelic and alive! Jerry's tone is piercing and the whole band is playing out their youth and reflecting the magic that was 1968...There is no better example of late 60s Grateful Dead ... and the Dark Star>St. Stephen>The Eleven is as great as they come with the St. Stephen being my very favorite version...
