Comments:

I don't recall the exact set list but the night was pretty much their standard show of the time. The first set was mostly stuff from the Grateful Dead album and the second set was the Anthem of the Sun material.

The only song i remember is morning dew. At that time it was the only song i was really familiar with. I was 16 and didnt have a record player. Only reason i got in was my friend Steven knew the owner, Marshall (I think). Well, thats the day i got on the bus, and i now have my XM tuned to Grateful Dead 24/7. What a grateful strange trip it's been.

PEACE

I want to modify the comments from my first entry. I distinctly recall the chimes and gongs and the scratchy thing used in Dark Star. It is my clearest memory of their performance - along with Alligator. I can't say for sure that Dark Star was played but I lean that way. Of course one of the sets ended with all of the feedback performance. There does not seem to be tapes from this weekend I assume because it was a short east coast tour and I think Owlsley had been busted. But the 1968 Mystery Tapes sound exactly like what we heard so the date on those tapes is probably accurate although I keep hoping something will show they are from the east coast tour.
