Comments:

Dark Star and The Other One were rather short, but were played very well. The show in general had a nice flow and mood to it.

excellent Dark Star > China Cat > The Eleven. Highly recommend downloading it, and it is also available on So Many Roads in good quality

This was the show where the infamous Phil/Jerry brawl took place.

Playing now 8/27/16 on GratefulDay stream. Started with Lovelight though. WTF?

-Dave Fadoul (08/27/2016)

Forgot to mention they list DL Series #6 so prolly they added some other show as filler as those bastards love to do so.

-Dave Fadoul (08/27/2016)

I really doubt that they played Morning Dew as an encore. I mean...think about it. Phil knows Jerry is about to kick his ass and wants to get out of there right away. Why would he take time to stick around for an encore? My guess is that they played it after Schoolgirl.

Weird to hear this knowing what's about to happen to Phil after the show.

Worth noting all Jerry did after the show was grab Phil by the collar and tell him “You play, motherfucker!” Phil proceeded to trip over his own feet and fall down the stairs. Jerry apologized the following my day. According to Phil’s great book Searching For the Sound. About this show -

“I had thought I had stopped playing that night for several minutes, an eternity in musical time. Listening back, I found that it had only been eight bars, about twenty seconds. Moreover, the rest of the show was spectacular, teemingly brilliant with ideas and contrasts. So good, in fact, that we ended up featuring it on our album” [Anthem Of The Sun]

Dark Star through The Eleven is available in the So Many Roads box

Quick tempo and confident playing on Dark Star. Sounds like Jerry sings the first lyrics as "Dark Star flashes"
