Comments:

The early Dead at their finest. Pigpen wails the way only he could on "Pain in my Heart" and "Good Morning Little School Girl"; he's so good at being bad. "Cold Rain and Snow" rocks much harder and faster than later performed. Dylan's "It's All Over Now Baby Blue" closes the set on a bittersweet yet blissful note. All in all, a rootsy gem that simultaneously offers a Dead history lesson.
