Comments:

My first show, it was as good as it got in the latter years, as I would find out later. But the Drums>Dark Star>The Wheel is still something I will never forget as soon as I can remember it. Deer Creek had some memorable shows in its brief place in Dead history. Not all of them good. But this show is why they liked to play there so much

This was a special show. There are many great showes in 93, if you can get past the 'new sopgs'. I just want to point out the Cresant moon thast night. I( remember looking up at set beqk and seeing it and calling the Terapin, It was a monster jam that goes on and on and remains in the Terapin groove through the Jam (Rather than into a playin' jam).

this is likely to be one of the best terrapins ever. the following jam is 12 minutes. everything else is great too, even the new songs!

this was the only show i made it into and it was a real treat. Terrapin was my favorite at the time and i could really relate to the story because of hearts crazy on you lyrics (sounds strange i know). I noticed the moon that night too. years later at phil and friends in millet hall as i walked in i met eyes with lesh and he began playing broken arrow. cosmic truly. I'd love to play once with these guys.I saw the fence get smashed in 1995. well, i was playing these huge rototoms in the lot across the creek while it started going down and watched as 15 minutes of cop cars paraded into the scene. it was tragic

Its crazy to think that this show is the only dark star played in IN. I'm thinking that the boys felt it wouldn't change a dang thing there in Indiana

Love this show and feel 93 was the last great year for the Dead. Jerry's playing is clean and full of direction. I toured till the end and saw a few shows post 93 I loved.

They do a cool tuning/space intro for good times. a primo show all the way round

Went to this whole D Creek run. My favorite venue to see a show (was not there for the 1995 debacle). My buddy and I snuck into pavilion and ended up about 10th row Jerry side figuring we would eventually get kicked out. Never happened. Had this tape for years and to this day I still never saw the Dark Star coming.

I was on an absolute tear in 93 and snuck into almost all the shows. This one was the most memorable show and the Dark Star is still resonating in my soul all these years later.
