Nothing wrong with this show and of course crowd went nuts for the LSD (only 3rd time played) but also nothing particularly special here. Not up to the caliber of the '92 shows but go one day furthur.

The 5/16 show starts slow with a less than stellar Touch opener and then takes flight. Only a six song first set but a WONDERFUL Althea and maybe the best latter days Masterpiece.
Second set was over two hours and just a monster. Heck the first half of the second set on the 16th was longer than the ENTIRE second set here.

I was there. Without a doubt the worst GD show I ever saw, and I saw fifty-plus from 1979 to 1995. Sting was pretty good, though.

this show was a weird one.. it was almost like it was in sync with the sky display in the first set and to the start of the 2nd but the rest of the 2nd set was uncharacteristic of the Dead.. it was just dragging on ..
